About Me

Hi, my name is Ugo, I’m a third year PhD student in Quantum Computing. I’m cosupervised by Prof. Giuseppe Di Molfetta (CaNa Team, LIS, Aix-Marseille Université) and Prof. Andrea Simonetto (OC Team, UMA, ENSTA). I’m affiliated to both establishments but you will find me most of the time at the TPR2 building on the Luminy campus in Marseille, located in the middle of the Calanques National Park.

📚 My Research 💻
My main research interests are quantum walks, noisy quantum computation, quantum algorithms and optimization problems. My PhD research aims to design quantum walk based algorithms for solving hard combinatorial optimization problems on quantum computers.
